David Moore Founding Director, creative force at Pied a Terre, & chair of the CommitteeDavid Moore, founding Director and the longstanding creative force behind Pied à Terre, can regularly be seen 'Front of House' in Pied à Terre and sister restaurant, L'Autre Pied. With a career that spans some of the most illustrious establishments in the country including The Box Tree in Ilkley and Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons in Oxfordshire, David's front of house management skills have also taken him to the Louis XV in Monaco and La Belle Otero in France. David also has interests in Van Zellers restaurant in Harrogate, and continuing to diversify, is one of the 'Inspectors' on BBC2’s 'The Restaurant’.
John Aiken Head of Slade, Professor and sculptor
John Aiken is an artist mainly working in the field of sculpture. He studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design from 1968-73 and at the British School at Rome from 1973-75. He has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, most recently at the Centro Cultural in Cascais near Lisbon, September 2010 and he is currently beginning a project in Hangzhou, China. Recent commissions include two large sculptures for Paddington Central in London. John has lectured at many art schools and universities in Britain and abroad and has taught at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL since 1982. He was appointed to the Slade Chair in 2000 and from 2000-10 he was the Director of the Slade. He is currently on sabbatical leave. John was a member of the jury for the recent Harpers Bazaar feature on the 20 most powerful women in British Art, (current issue), and chaired the international jury for the Arianne de Rothschild Painting Prize.

Gill Hedley Independent curator and consultant
Gill Hedley is an independent curator and consultant. Previously she organised exhibitions for the British Council, including Francis Bacon in Moscow, 1988; Richard Hamilton at the Venice Biennale, 1993, and was Director of the Contemporary Art Society till 2006. Currently working with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, UK, as a consultant and curator; organising exhibitions for The Foundling Museum (Paula Rego, Tracey Emin & Mat Collishaw; the Museum of Childhood, London (Colin Booth); and writing a biography of art dealer, collector and bon viveur Arthur Jeffress (1905-1961).
Marie-Lise Sheppard Arts Awards at The Wellcome Trust & Artist in Restaurant scheme manager
Marie-Lise Sheppard studied at Kent Institute of Art and Design, and at Central St Martins. She has worked in the field of arts funding for 8 years, working with artists such as Tina Gonsalves, Jordan Baseman and Paddy Hartley. She is currently the Grant Advisor for the Arts Awards at The Wellcome Trust.

Calum Sutton runs Calum Sutton PR a specialist arts PR agency founded in 2006. Clients include Art Basel, Manchester International Festival, The Royal Academy of Arts and Hauser & Wirth. Prior to starting Calum Sutton PR he ran the publicity for The Saatchi Gallery and Tate Modern. He is a graduate in History of Art from University College London and holds an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
